The SPIN Project (Strategic Press Information Network) provides media technical assistance to nonprofit public-interest organizations across the nation who want to influence debate, shape public opinion and garner positive media attention. The website contains the SPIN Tool Kit is a collection of tutorials on effective media strategies and tactics to support social change work.

Macromedia Flash sponsors an online Rich Media Advertising Resource Center. The Center contains a wide a variety of resources and information on rich media technologies.

The Center for Disease Control has created a Media Campaign Resource Center for tobacco prevention. Some of the information provided can be adapted for other uses.

The Communications Network is a non-profit membership organization that promotes strategic communications as an integral part of effective philanthropy.

TechFoundation is a new public charity founded to bridge the nonprofit digital divide by providing nonprofits with access to the technology, expertise, and capital they need to build a better tomorrow. TechFoundation's initiatives include: TechMarketplace--A business-to-nonprofit distribution channel that provides discounted and donated technology to nonprofit organizations; Geeks for America--A technology fellowship placing recent college graduates in nonprofit organizations to provide technology expertise; TechConnect--Networking and educational seminars that provide expertise for nonprofit IT leaders, senior managers, and funders; TechGrants--A newsletter and a grant program that provide nonprofits with access to capital to help fulfill their technology needs.
